There are many fun-to-drive vehicles in the market today. However, there is only one real leader, the Mini Cooper. Only few cars come as close to the pure joy of driving as a Mini, but they are too expensive for an average person, which makes the Mini Cooper an ideal choice. The second-hand market offers many used models, but I would recommend focusing on the used Mini Coopers equipped with all-Aluminium 118 horsepower engines and 172 horsepower units with the turbocharger. Those engines are a thing of art and drivers that choose them will certainly not be disappointed. Handling on the Cooper is tight thanks to a rear suspension setup that uses Aluminium longitudinal shafts. The interior is well finished and offers good supportive seats for the front passengers, while the rear is rather for the kids than the adults. All used Mini Cooper models on the market are also equipped with six air bags, anti-lock disc brakes, cornering brake control and electronic brake force distribution; so a very generous features for that price. All in all, the old Mini was a legend and the new one seems to be continuing that tradition. There is no other car for that price that can gives so much pleasure from the ride as a used Mini Cooper does.
