As the popularity of used Volkswagen cars does not seem to decline and, on the contrary, increase, in the present article we will try to get you more familiar with one of the endurable models of the brand – the VW Golf III. We asked a few owners of used Volkswagen Golf’s to present us their opinions and here we present our findings. Used Volkswagen cars are highly praised for their rust and corrosion resistance; even 20+ models seemed not to notice the passing time and their body kit remained pretty untouched. On the other hand, most of the used Volkswagen convertibles complain about the malfunctions regarding the rooftop and leaky doors. Of other typical failures of used Volkswagen cars we can also mention brake and gearbox malfunctions and another, which may be surprising; a high percentage of theft concerning this model. On the other hand this ‘popularity’ reflects how much high esteem theses vehicles have. In the case of most of the interviewees, we heard only positive opinions of used Volkswagen units, which can be summed up as a kind of motto: ‘If you happen to own a VW, just keep the tank full and the car will take care of itself’.
