Post-Winter threat to Second-Hand Vans

Probably everyone has already heard that this year the United Kingdom has experienced the worst winter in the last thirty years. And the continent is actually still fighting with winter and heavy snowfall. But what does winter have to do with drivers, used vans and roads? Actually, the answer is quite a lot. Harsh winter conditions resulted in creating many potholes and bumps, which can be dangerous to used vans. The roads all across the United Kingdom seem to be full of potholes as they are pretty vulnerable to winter conditions, which are not often seen in the Isles. Due to the numerous complaints by drivers of used vans regarding potholes reaching unprecedented levels, some auto producers and organisations supporting transportation launched Websites and services with the aim of urging drivers of used vans to be aware of dangers on the roads in the region. Second-hand light commercial vehicles are particularly vulnerable as they are heavier than normal vans and damage the tyres, wheels, steering or suspension. Additionally, used vans have been in use for some time now which means there is a higher possibility of fatigue of material; so each bump via a pothole may mean serious damage that could result in filing a complaint to the insurer and city council.
